Background & Vision

About Me & Personal Intelligence

Forward-deployed engineering meets modern agentic AI. How I build high-throughput Delta Lake architectures, maintain 100% regulatory compliance, and eliminate cloud waste.

Shiva Cheruvu

Forward-Deployed Engineering

My name is Shiva Preetham Chinthalacheruvu. As a Forward Deployed Data Engineer currently working on enterprise telecom data pipelines at Verizon, I operate directly at the intersection of technical architecture and business operational outcomes.

Rather than building pipelines in isolation, I embed with stakeholders to translate legacy business logic (often buried in legacy Informatica workflows or stored procedures) into modern, scalable PySpark and Databricks solutions. In my current role, this direct collaboration resulted in a 42% reduction in pipeline runtimes, the decommissioning of costly legacy infrastructure, and an automated reconciliation engine diffing billions of records across on-prem EDW and cloud object stores.

The AI Frontier & Agentic Architecture (Claude Code • Antigravity • Codex)

I treat modern autonomous AI not as a gimmick, but as an indispensable engineering force multiplier. My core workflow prioritizes Claude Code CLI as the lead autonomous driver for repo scaffolding, pipeline generation, and rigorous test synthesis, coupled with Google Antigravity and OpenAI Codex:

  • Autonomous Pipeline Generation (Claude Code Priority): Utilizing Claude Code to construct production-ready PySpark medallion transformation models, automate YAML workflow configurations, and execute end-to-end repository operations.
  • Architectural Synthesis (Google Antigravity): Multi-agent coordination and contextual intelligence modeling complex distributed lakehouse boundaries.
  • Algorithmic Verification (OpenAI Codex): Complex mathematical formula validation, static code parsing, and automated test assertion generation.
  • Zero-Leak Security Protocol: Enforcing strict separation between code and credentials through automated CI/CD secret scanning (gitleaks) and Bring-Your-Own-Key (BYOK) architectures.

Academic Foundations

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Data Science from the University of Minnesota. My curriculum combined deep algorithmic foundations (statistical computing, data structures, machine learning) with real-world data systems (relational databases, distributed compute, optimization, and securitization).
